A DAY OF PRAYER

Rededication

There is no depth you may have fallen to, that the Lord is unwilling to forgive you. This truth is observed time and again throughout His Word.

Psalm 86:5 (NASB) 5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.

Let go of the things that He has asked you to let go of. And, grab hold of the things He has spoken to you...Everything that's already in His Word.

Purify your motives toward God. Cleanness begins with repenting from a sincere and pure heart for the things we have done against God (Hebrews 10:22); and, because we desire a pure relationship with God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Search your heart. Make sure that you are searching for Him in this moment because you want a true relationship with Him and don't want to live without Him. Not just because you currently find yourself in an impossible situation and are looking for a way out. If the latter is where you find yourself, God will help you because that is Who He is. However, if not based on something deeper, your commitment to Him won't last. You will continue to find yourself in the same cycle over and over again.

Come because He loves you, and you love Him. God wants a lasting commitment [A personal and intimate relationship] with you; that is for the rest of your natural life, and onward into eternity. He wants you to make a lasting commitment to Him...not a momentary one.

Isaiah 1:18 (NASB) 18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.

We cannot redeem ourselves. We cannot clean or purify ourselves, before Him. We must have faith that He can, will, and wants to clean the things that don't reflect Him in our lives out; and replace them with Himself (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) dwelling in us.

Isaiah 43:25 (NASB) 25 "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

Isaiah 44:21-22 (NASB) 21 "Remember these things, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant, O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me. 22 "I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NASB) 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

He will forgive you because He has already said so in His word. Accept what God wants for you. Don't resist Him.

1 John 1:9 (NASB) 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NASB) 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Rest in Him. Trust Him to do what He’s already said He will do. In other wordsLet Him [Christ] change you. Let God change You, in God’s time. Until, Christ becomes the central focus of every aspect [The entirety] of your life, and you look exactly like what the Lord wants you to look like.

If you are ready: Ask the Lord to forgive you for the wrong that you have done against Him (Luke 11:24).

Forgive the people that have done wrong against you. The Lord requires this in order for us to receive forgiveness for the things that we have done (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25-26).

Then, forgive yourself.

Walk with Him in faith; being led by His Holy Spirit, Who will keep us from falling into the same traps / making the same mistakes. He keeps that which we commit to Him (2 Timothy 1:12; John 10:28-29).

Amen.

If you have prayed the prayer of repentance / rededication to the Lord, we want to hear from you. We want to join our faith with yours, and celebrate your return to His Body, with you!
