A DAY OF PRAYER

Salvation!

We were created to have a personal relationship with Jesus! Your salvation, is the exact reason He gave His life on the cross. Jesus came through the virgin birth-in a flesh, blood, and bone body. He suffered all that He went through because He loves you. Don't just take my word for it; the Lord says it for Himself.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 (NASB) 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.

Titus 2:11 (NASB) 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

He gives Salvation to all who will believe in Jesus, and confess He is Lord. By doing this, you enter into a personal relationship with the Lord and Savior; Creator of the Heavens and Earth, for eternity.

Romans 10:9-11 (NASB) 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

Only Jesus Christ is able to save you. There is nothing in and of ourselves that has the power to save us. Only Jesus.

Isaiah 45:22-23 (NASB) 22 "Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other. 23 "I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

He loves you, and always has. Even before you knew He is there; and regardless of what you've done in your life...HE LOVES and CARES for YOU!

Acts 4:10 (NASB) 10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health.

Acts 4:12 (NASB) 12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

1 John 1:9 (NASB) 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He is here to help you.

John 20:26-29 (NASB) 26 After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus *came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you." 27 Then He *said to Thomas, "Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing." 28 Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Jesus *said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."

Do you believe that Jesus came into the earth as Man because God the Father asked Him to?

Do you believe that Jesus is both God and Man, and He is the Son of the true and living God?

Do you believe that Jesus, as God and Man, died on the cross for your sins and God has raised Him from the dead on the third day (following His death), as He/God said He would?

If you, genuinely and from your heart, answered "Yes" to all of those questions, please repeat after me:

Jesus, I believe that You came into the earth in a flesh, blood, and bone body. I believe that You died on the cross for all of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for everyone else's sins too. I forgive now, because You forgive me. I receive Your forgiveness for my sins now. Jesus, I believe that You are alive today and are seated with the Heavenly Father. Jesus, I believe that You are Lord. You are my Lord!

Congratulations! If you answered "Yes" to the questions that we asked you, then you believed in your heart. If you said the words that are written in the statement above, and you meant it. Then, you are SAVED! Jesus is now the Lord and Savior of your life and He, the Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit have come to make their home in you, forever. You are now cleansed from all unrighteousness and made right with God. Welcome to the family of God!

We would be blessed to hear from you, and celebrate your new found freedom in Christ with you. Please email us at: adayofprayer@yahoo.com; for more guidance on how to move forward in your relationship with Christ.
